Cape Cod Blue Balls— Cold Plunges for Men's Mental Health

Location: Grey's Beach, Yarmouthport

Chris Bitter, founder of Cape Cod Blue Balls, became tired of overtly masculine culture at the gym, and decided to lead with love instead. Making this change has inspired many others to feel welcomed by his warmth and share their stories or a smile. Through his own experience and recognizing the isolation others have felt as well, he realized that men needed a space to feel seen, so he formed Cape Cod Blue Balls— a group of cold plunging men!

The group is public; it is a men’s group but all are welcome. Trans people are encouraged to join, and of course we always welcome female cohorts. We are crowd sourced, no money is ever required to take part. It’s all about having a good laugh, and forming a supportive environment.
